When I think  Vitra see Vitra, talk Vitra, my face instantly lights up and I feel some what ‘Very Happy’. I’m instantly taken back to a very special day at the Clerkenwell design week 2010, where I took time enjoying  the  Vitra showroom with its playful bright colourful contemporary furniture. The lasting memory as I walked out the Vitra showroom was I felt vibrant and alive! Now that is special!

That same day at the Clerkenwell design festival I fell in love with the Iconic Eames House Bird  Charles and Ray Eames augmented the interior “collage” of the Eames House with numerous objects brought back from their extensive travels. The figure of a black wooden bird — evidently one of their most prized objects of American folk art — has stood in the centre of their living room for over fifty years.

So what exactly is  Vitra ? 

Vitra is a swiss family-owned business which was founded in 1950. Vitra manufactures furniture it’s direction from the outset has been guided by persuasions and passions.
