The August issue of the Lincolnshire Journal features my design column, this months feature is all about Botancials. The September issue will be on sale early August and is all about stripes and beach-huts my favourite subject. October’s issue is going to be very special and it will co inside with the London Design Festival week. (So watch this space for more scans of my monthly design column) or if you live in Lincolnshire go and find yourself a copy its a great glossy life-style magazine full of Homes, Travel, fashion, motoring, wine and dine, shopping and much much more!
I’m a Grimsby born and breed home gal! So it’s heartwarming to see that the recent ‘Blog Tour NYC’ has been featured in the local Grimsby Telegraph – not once but TWICE! Below are the scans from the newspaper or you can read the latest addition on line here
The response from ‘Blog Tour NYC’ has been incredible, its touching to know my readers are enjoying the Blog Tour Diary’s (even if it is taking forever to write them – so much content to cover) THANK YOU!
Its been incredible to see the ‘BIG’ jump in blog stats, since ‘Blog Tour NYC’ this is great news. As well as been asked a very exciting proposal to write a design column for a glossy lifestyle magazine (to be confirmed, I will keep you in posted)
It really has been the most fantastic full on four days in London for the ‘London Design Festival’ with the Modenus ‘BlogTour 2011’. Meeting fellow American & Canadian design bloggers, oh what fun did we all have. From visiting Sir Terence Conran’s Penthouse, to meeting the delightful talented Lee Broom, to being in complete ore of Barbara Chandler, delicious dinner parties with the blog tour sponsors, and of course attending all the London design shows just pure indulgence of complete design heaven …. a big thank you to Modenus for making ‘Blog Tour’ special it really is a ‘Dream’ come true. Over the next week I will be covering more in depth blog posts of the ‘London Design Week’ and the experiences of ‘Blog Tour 2011’. Im now back home in Grimsby a world away from the antics of London, I’m trying my best to get back to reality, and absorb in all the Design. This blog post is in two parts to give you a sneaky taster of ‘Blog Tour’ 2011 in photographs, lots more to come, so enjoy……..

A Personal Note for Fiona Flame:
Having met the fabulous Fiona a few years ago in Bath and most recently again in London, I can personally say this design collection is a perfect reflection on Fiona’s authentic vibrant larger than life personality. Fiona is certainly a talented designer and deserves every ounce of success with her design range, may this range expand and expand like Fiona’s tum did when carrying baby Noah. (A personal joke, which I’m sure will make Fiona smile). Fiona has always been supportive of my own business which I’ve always appreciated so thank you Mz Flame and wishing you every bit of success with your FAB NEW RANGE! Go Mz Flame Go 😉
